After having taught thousands of fitness classes of all kinds over the years, Susan believes that dance fitness is unique in the fitness world. Not only is it the most fun and the most empowering, but dance has been proven to improve mental capacity, creativity, self expression and problem-solving skills along with the physical benefits of strength, stamina, balance, control, flexibility, rhythm and grace. It is also, quite simply, the most energizing and feel-good workout ever.

Susan has recently (November 2018) launched an online magazine to share the stories and voices of inspiring women. As well as feature stories, the site hosts a blog platform for a team of writers dedicated to sharing topics of interest to women, from living your best life to women in the news. Forte also offers workshops designed to empower through learning and creativity while supporting local artisans and businesswomen.
A graduate of the Humber College Fitness Leadership program, Susan has been a certified fitness professional since 1992 and has worked in fitness centre and recreational program management in both the private and public sectors for the past 20 years. On retirement in 2014, she relocated from the Town of Oakville to Trent Hills, Ontario where she immediately founded Love It Fitness.
