Love It Fitness is moving into its 6th year in Trent Hills with a qualified team to add traditional fitness and yoga classes to the roster for a well-rounded fitness experience.
Founder and Managing Editor of Forte
Susan launched an online magazine in November 2018 to share the stories and voices of inspiring women. As well as features, the site hosts a blog platform for contributors sharing topics of interest to women, from living your best life to women in the news. Forte has turned its attention to local outreach and is offering workshops designed to empower through fun, learning and creativity while supporting local artisans and businesswomen. Workshops are held at the Love It studio.
After having taught thousands of fitness classes of all kinds over the years, Susan believes that dance fitness is unique in the fitness world. Not only is it the most fun and the most empowering, but dance has been proven to improve mental capacity, creativity, self expression and problem-solving skills along with the physical benefits of strength, stamina, balance, control, flexibility, rhythm and grace. It is also, quite simply, the most energizing and feel-good workout ever.
Certifications and Licenses
A graduate of the Humber College Fitness Leadership program, Susan has been a certified fitness professional since 1992 and has worked in fitness centre and recreational program management in both the private and public sectors for the past 20 years. On retirement in 2014, she relocated from the Town of Oakville to Trent Hills, Ontario where she immediately founded Love It Fitness.
